What is placenta encapsulation?
Placenta encapsulation is the process of dehydrating the placenta after birth putting them into capsules for the mother to consume. Placenta tinctures are infused with alcohol to help it last longer.
Consuming the placenta can help the body heal faster after childbirth because it introduces healthy vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that can be lost during the childbirth process. There are many benefits of ingesting the placenta, including increased breastmilk supply, increased production of oxytocin, decreased stress and depression, and increased iron levels.

Placenta Encapsulation ($225)- We pick up your placenta within 24 hours of your contact that your baby has arrived and will have the placenta capsules back to you within 3-4 days of our pick-up. You will need to take a small cooler with you at the hospital to store the placenta on ice until we arrive. Be sure to let your provider know that you will be keeping your placenta. Please text me if you have any concerns about whether your placenta is safe to encapsulate, there have been many times a mother has been told by staff that she cannot encapsulate when there was not a true contraindication present.
